Messy Mondays: You're the Best of the Bunch

Welcome back to another Messy Monday! Today I'll be sharing another card that I made for Mother's Day which has now passed, but this card was too cute not to share! Also, this can be used for many occasions such as birthdays, or thank you cards by just switching up the sentiment.

For my inspiration, I wanted to make a smaller scaled variation of this card I saw on Pamela Ho's site. I will link you to it right here. Once my front panel was made with various pink ink colors, I stamped and fussy cut out this cute bunny from Pix's Favorite set from Mama Elephant, which Pamela also designed. I adhered the bunny on using foam taped and stamped a greeting from Potted Pretties, also by Mama Elephant.

Next, I made my card base from purple cardstock. I wanted to make something fun and interactive, so I decided to make a z-fold card. Once folded, it is the size of an A2 card. I added the flower pots of various kinds using the Potted Pretties stamp set and fussy cut them out. I colored all of the in using my Copic markers and then adhered them using acetate strips.

For my finishing touches, I added two more sentiments to fill up the empty places on the card base and used Versamark ink to stamp on some butterflies and bees for a tone on tone effect. Finally, I used my clear Wink of Stella on the heart the bunny is holding. You can see this card in action on my instagram.

Hope you enjoyed! I will be entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Flowers.
Happy Crafting.
