Sparkling Saturdays: Christmas Card Series #5

Welcome to another Sparkling Saturday! For all my American friends, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Today I will be sharing with you a subtle sparkly christmas card using gold embossing powder.

First, I started out with a white card base that I die cut out using the stitched rectangle die from Mama Elephant Basic Set. Next, I used Winter Wonderland stamp set by Mama Elephant to stamp on some birch trees. I used Simon Says Stamp Fog and Smoke ink colors for them. After I made sure the background was dried, I used my Versamark ink to stamp on the deers from the same set and heat embossed it using Rangers Gold Embossing Powder.

To finish this card panel, I used Tsukineko Ultimate Metallic Gold ink to stamp some ornaments onto the trees and also added a black sentiment on the top left. I adhered this panel onto some red cardstock and then stuck this onto a kraft A2 card base. I love the rustic and peaceful feel of this card and I hope you enjoyed as well.

Happy Crafting!  I will be entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes!
